Another layer over the paint
Adam's Polishes Graphene Ceramic Coating cures over the vehicle's clear coat. It helps keep contaminants such as bird droppings, tree sap, and road salt from sitting directly on the finish, but it doesn't make the paint damage-proof.
Water beading
A coated surface sheds water more readily. Dirt is usually easier to wash away, though the vehicle still needs regular washing and water can still leave spots if it dries on the surface.
What it won't do
A coating is not paint protection film and it will not stop rock chips or deep scratches. Careful washing still matters if you want to avoid swirl marks.
Road grime and chemicals
The coating adds some resistance to road grime and chemicals, but droppings, sap, salt, and spills should still be removed rather than left on the vehicle.
UV resistance
The product includes UV-resistant properties. It may help slow sun-related fading, but parking conditions and paint condition also affect how a finish ages.
Washing a coated vehicle
A coating can make regular washing easier because grime doesn't stick as readily. Use wash products and methods that are appropriate for a coated finish.
Ask about current product coverage
Ceramic coatings generally last longer than wax, but product, preparation, mileage, storage, and maintenance all change the result. Ask CVSi which Adam's product is currently offered and what care it requires.
